Commercial Cleaning for Dental Practices & Healthcare Services
Spotless offer a dedicated dental and healthcare cleaning service. We are experienced in the standards required by the CQC and have worked with our clients through many CQC inspections. We use colour coding of equipment for different areas, can provide DBS checked staff if required and are happy to sign confidentiality agreements.
Excellent Staff Training to BICSc standard
We recruit all of our cleaners ourselves and understand the importance of quality and reliability for your environment.
All Spotless cleaners are trained using our internal training regime. This consists of online and face-to-face training which includes CQC standards when working in a healthcare setting. Our Cleaning Managers are trained via the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) which is the largest independent, professional and educational cleaning body within the cleaning industry.
Our bespoke online training which is completed at the start of employment with us as well as an annual refresher course, includes modules such as health and safety, manual handling, electrical safety and vacuum maintenance, slips and trips, COSHH and PPE, chemical use and colour coding. Face-to-face, on-site training by our Staff Managers will include NHS colour-coded cleaning for different zones and record-keeping for CQC inspections.
Flexible Hours to Suit You
We don’t charge extra for out of hours cleaning as we recognise how flexible surgeries and practices have to be with their opening hours. Whether it’s early morning, evening or weekend cleaning you require, we are happy to work with you to suit your requirements.
Transparent Time & Attendance System
Our Cleaning Team use an app called Connecteam to log in and out of their shifts at no cost to you. Everything they need to be compliant is on the app making it really simple.
We can design tick sheets for your site that are located on the app and completed daily, weekly or monthly. These can also be emailed to you for your records.
Our staff remain safe as we’re alerted if they don’t clock out and you’re safe in the knowledge that you are getting the labour time that you’re paying for.
Monthly Site Audits
Our Cleaning Managers will conduct monthly audits of your site to ensure standards are being adhered to and that record keeping is up to date. You and our cleaning team member will receive copies of the audits and an action plan will be in place to improve any areas that are not meeting the necessary standards.

In response to the Covid-19 outbreak we have developed a range of commercial cleaning services to deep clean your office or place of work. More can be found out about our office cleaning service, and carpet cleaning.

On sites that require a DBS check or an enhanced DBS check, we will arrange these for our cleaning staff at no cost to you.
TUPE – Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)
A TUPE transfer will happen when a service is transferred to another provider. TUPE will be handled with the support of Peninsula, a global leader in HR, to ensure a compliant and smooth transition of the incumbent supplier’s employees. Spotless has handled countless transfers as TUPE is commonly applicable to contract cleaning.
Thank you for the brilliant cleaning service you are providing for the practice. We here at Mike Allen’s Dental Practice are extremely pleased with Emily. She does a fantastic job and always does little extra chores in our staff room especially when we have all been untidy on certain days. The practice always smells clean and everything is done thoroughly and when it is scheduled to be done. We would like to nominate Emily for cleaner of the month. Keep up the good job Emily.

Why is cleaning important in medical and healthcare facilities?
Cleaning plays a critical role in medical and healthcare facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Proper cleaning helps prevent the spread of infections, reduces the risk of cross-contamination, and ensures the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
What are some key differences between cleaning in medical facilities and cleaning in other environments?
Cleaning in medical facilities requires a higher level of attention and adherence to specific protocols due to the presence of pathogens and the need for infection control. Specialised cleaning agents, disinfectants, and techniques are often employed to meet the unique requirements of healthcare settings.
What is the difference between cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitising?
Cleaning involves the removal of dirt, debris, and some germs from surfaces. Disinfecting refers to killing or inactivating the majority of germs on surfaces. Sanitising reduces the number of germs on surfaces to a safe level according to public health standards. In healthcare settings, a combination of cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitising is typically necessary.
What areas in medical facilities require special attention during cleaning?
High-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, bed rails, countertops, and medical equipment, should receive extra attention during cleaning. Additionally, areas with a higher risk of contamination, such as patient rooms, operating rooms, waiting areas, and bathrooms, require thorough and frequent cleaning.
How often should cleaning be performed in medical facilities?
Cleaning should be performed regularly, with the frequency depending on the area and level of contamination. High-touch surfaces may require cleaning multiple times per day, while other areas may be cleaned daily or on a scheduled basis. Additionally, immediate cleaning should be conducted in case of spills or visible contamination.
